The Beach of Long Beach Description:

Long Beach runs along Hwy 90 (aka Beach Blvd) from Pass Christian to Gulfport with nice sandy beach areas. The water here is very shallow for a long distance out. (View the satellite map to see the shallow water bottom.) This makes it an ideal family style beach. Most areas do not have life guards so swimming is at your own risk.

This beach had at least 2 park like areas prior to Katrina and they are working quickly to restore the facilities in these locations. Nice off road parking in spots, other parking areas on side of the busy Hwy 90. There are may side streets with parking as well on busy days.
