This Wayfinder viewpoint features a paved upper level walkway, benches, public restrooms and panoramic view. The beach is considered one of the most picturesque spots on the Oregon coast. The seastacks are spectacular. The terrain is fairly level, so beach walking is easy. During Winter months, agates and driftwood can be found, and pieces of 1930's shipwrecks are often exposed. Like Hubbard Creek - a mile south - Battle Rock Beach is known for its excellent surfing conditions. During the 4th of July the Area's fireworks display is launched from this beach and the top of Battle Rock itself !
